OUR STORY

Cornucopia Clay is an independent retailer based in Cumbria, selling handmade clay products including clay trinket dishes and garlands, direct to consumer as well as to carefully selected wholesale stockists who share our values of environmental sustainability and providing customers with high quality handmade products for a fair price.

Cornucopia Clay began in 2017 from my coffee table, with the idea of creating rustic clay products for customers. That's still the core of the business today, although the product range has grown and since 2021 it's been on offer to wholesale customers too.

The ethos of the business has never changed: every item is made by hand with great attention to detail and so much love and care.

​

At the start of 2022 Cornucopia Closed for a year. It had grown so much and with another job and a young son it was too much, but at the beginning of 2023, after being made redundant, it was the perfect opportunity to refocus on Cornucopia Clay and continue doing what I love: making people happy with my creations.

Now, more than ever, every purchase helps my family. It pays for our home, our bills, our son's swimming lessons, and maybe, hopefully, even a family holiday or two.
